Francesca’s mother, father, and sister are all architects. Given this influence and the fact that she’s highly analytical, it was inevitable that she would become an engineer. Interesting fact. Her family owns and restored a 500-year-old villa in central Italy – a sure influence on Francesca’s keen interest in historic preservation.

She’s been putting her passion for existing buildings to good use working with the City of Seattle on the technical requirements for a proposed retrofit ordinance for URM buildings. Having worked on over 80 URM buildings, Francesca is the experienced engineer you want to evaluate your building and determine the appropriate next steps! Additionally, Francesca serves as a Commissioner on the King County Landmarks Preservation Board, is a member of Historic Seattle’s Real Estate Committee, and is on the AIA Seattle Board of Directors.
