Originally born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico, Carlos spent his early childhood in San Jose and moved to Puyallup when he was 6. After attending EWU, he spent a few years in construction as a carpenter. He then attended Clover Park Technical College where he completed the architectural engineering and design program. Landing in the A/E/C world comes naturally to Carlos. His grandpa was a structural engineer and his dad has been a general contractor for 25 years!
Carlos continues to live in Puyallup with his German Shepherd, Rocky. A self-confessed home-body, he does enjoy the occasionally soccer outing with his friends, or dinner at one of his favorite Mexican or Asian restaurants. A dye-hard soccer fan, Carlos’ favorite football club is Manchester City. If they play at 4am, he’s watching! Upcoming travel aspirations? New York City and England are high on the list. Carlos joined the SSF team in 2019.
