Northaven Senior Living

Northaven Senior Living built a $26 million addition called Northaven West at its senior housing campus at 545 N.E. 112th St. Walsh Construction built the five-story, 82-unit project for Beacon Development Group and HumanGood. This building provides affordable independent living studios and one-bedroom units ranging from 316 to 442 square feet.
The building’s structure consists of five stories of wood framing over two stories of concrete construction. Landscaping features such as concrete retaining walls, ramps, and stairs were also part of the project. The design included a new recreational garden for the residents east of the main building, using fill from the Northaven West building excavation.
