Whidbey Island Fieldhouse

Whidbey Island Fieldhouse

Whidbey Island, WA

The Whidbey Island Fieldhouse is a simple, functional structure built as a gathering space where friends, family, and neighbors could gather, play sports, celebrate, and relax in the country. Inspired by the stone and timber structures built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the building is a simple design crafted from durable local materials with a single plane shed roof. The fieldhouse features a sunroom with a partially enclosed fireplace on one end, a kitchen and bedrooms on the other, and a covered outdoor area between the two.
