Originally designed by renowned architect Fred Bassetti, the Wood Block project was a complete remodel to simplify the floor plan and update the finishes for a family lifestyle. Unique features of this home include floor to ceiling window walls that bring extensive light into the home, an “outdoor room” enclosed by an custom designed aluminum screen enclosure, and a cedar-lined ceiling and metal roof/siding exterior that wraps the entire home. This project won a prestigious AIA Honor Award in 2011.
