Wax Orchard Multigenerational Estate

Wax Orchard Multigenerational Estate

Vashon Island, WA

Part of a multigenerational family estate, the Wax Orchard project is two single-family residences on a lush Vashon property. Inspired by the natural elements of the island and reinterpreted Scandinavian design, the architect distinctly and thoughtfully created these two homes for the different residents’ needs.

Both homes feature mountain views and Vashon’s rugged beauty. Wax Orchard North is 6400 SF and features the living spaces (kitchen/dining/living) bookended by a 2-story sleeping/family/office area on one end and the garage/mud room on the other. Wax Orchard South is a 2700 SF, single-story home featuring accessible entryways and bathrooms and a private guest suite.

Other Vashon projects include Barnstorm Project and The Garage.
