SSF provided structural engineering for four projects at The Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach. The first was the addition of 50 luxury rooms to the resort’s oceanfront building and a new lobby. Phase two, involved remodeling the resort’s south wing, the addition of an east and north wing, and a complete remodeling of the pool house. Subsequently, we were retained  for two small renovation projects. The construction consisted of conventional wood framing, along with heavy timber detailing at the exterior decks, as well as throughout the pool house.
