SSF teamed with Anchor QEA on a new picnic shelter, restroom shelter, and the boardwalk and abutments for a pedestrian bridge. This project is regionally significant for its role in salmon recovery and Puget Sound shoreline restoration while making significant improvements to the park.

April 18, 2024 – Meadowdale Beach Park project won the American Society of Landscape Architects – Washington Chapter (WASLA) Award of Excellence. This is the top award honor for the state.
