LIHI Dockside Apartments

Seattle, WA

Designed initially as market-rate housing, LIHI purchased the Green Lake Spuds property Dockside Apartments, built by Blueprint Capital and designed by Cone Architecture. The new six-story, 49,600 SF building has 92 studio and one-bedroom units. Seventy apartments are permanent supportive housing units, and the remaining apartments are affordable studios. Dockside has two bike rooms for 88 bikes, a 2,600 SF roof deck, and Spuds Fish & Chips on the ground level. The project has five levels of residential Type VA wood frame construction over one level of Type IA concrete frame construction. A deep foundation system consisting of drilled augercast concrete piles supports the building.
