SSF teamed with Graham Baba Architects on the HopTown Wood-Fired Pizza project in Sunnyside. Located on the corner of 4th and Decatur, GBA transformed a 1970’s KFC building that had been shuttered for 10 years into an attractive brick and exposed timber building designed to draw people downtown. Enlarged windows and new skylights bring natural light to the interior. Adding an exterior metal mesh facade and hop poles with string lights bring a modern aesthetic to the downtown core. This is the second location for HopTown following their first restaurant in Donald in 2016.
