An emergency shelter was built to serve the victims of domestic violence in Snohomish County. Located on a former Army reserve base that was granted to the City of Everett, the facility includes 52 beds, a community kitchen, youth center, athletic center and outdoor area and playground for the residents as well as administration and counseling areas for the staff.
