Just a few blocks west of Redmond Town Center, Blackbird is a six-story apartment building with 160-units including five live/work lofts. Two existing buildings were demolished. The structure is a concrete podium with 2.5 levels of parking, amenity spaces, and light gauge metal frame supported lofts at the street level.  The concrete structure extends to level two above grade and supports a landscaped courtyard and five levels of wood framed residential units. The building is U-shaped around a central courtyard. Large, long-span, glulam timber beams support bearing walls above the open amenity spaces at level two.
