Located in close proximity to Redmond’s tech corridor, this new hotel combines two Starwood brands in one facility – Aloft and Element. Aloft has 150 short-term, tech-forward hotel rooms, and Element provides 131 rooms intended for extended-stay travelers. They share 7600 SF of meeting, event, pool and fitness center space as well as an outdoor courtyard.

The structural design is a typical 5-story wood framed structure over three levels of PT concrete slabs, 2 of which are at or below grade. It also included some deep foundations in localized areas, a steel framed store front, a suspended concrete pool in the middle of the PT slab, and a 2-story space above the pool with custom stainless steel connections for exposed glulam beams.
