Bishop Blanchet Ernie Rose Cafeteria/Commons Addition

The Bishop Blanchet Ernie Rose project is the interior renovation of the Ernie Rose Activity Center and a 9,500 SF addition to the cafeteria/commons to provide additional, flexible space for extracurricular activities. The new commons glass pavilion allows sunlight into the cafeteria’s new stairway/lunch area. Modernized areas include the entryway, locker rooms, fitness center, team meeting room, and a new second-floor curved walkway that opens to the entry below. The structure consists of new steel and concrete attached to the existing tilt-up concrete walls, a new commercial steel floor, a custom long-span steel truss, new concrete stairs, an elevator, and a planted green roof.
