Located one-half mile west of the future South 272nd Street Link Light Rail Station, the Redondo Heights project is the renovation of the existing Silver Shadow Apartment Buildings, the renovation of the clubhouse, and the addition of 7 new buildings for a total of 202 new affordable housing units. The most prominent new building, a 4- and 5-story building connected by a walkway, sits adjacent to Pacific Highway S. to the west of the existing apartments. Six more new buildings, including a 3000 SF office and 6500 SF food bank, are situated to the east and include parking for 99 cars.
