Lynnwood, Wa
The Lynnwood Neighborhood Center is a new 40,000 SF, 2-story facility that will include a variety of social services to better serve their 5,000+ residents that are below the federal poverty level, and their 1,500 single-parent households. It includes a daycare, offices for non-profit support services, after school spaces including a gym, art room, tech lab, gaming area, teaching kitchen and training spaces, and an adult day center. The building’s structural systems include cross laminated timber (CLT), structural steel framing and exposed wood framing.
Partners in this project include Lutheran Community Services Northwest, Center for Human Services Northwest, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, and Volunteers of America Western Washington.
