SSF provided structural engineering for the adaptive reuse of the former Washington Elementary School for Ellensburg City Hall. Ellensburg needed 18,000 square feet of usable space and the elementary school provided them with 25,000 square feet, thus allowing for future growth. The City desired to retain the exterior features of the building structure for future listing on the Historic Register.
