Twegashe School, Tanzania

Disparities in educational access and quality between rural and urban areas in Tanzania put rural communities at a serious disadvantage, leaving them vulnerable to entrenched poverty.

The Twegashe Primary School is being built in rural Tanzania to give children the chance to receive a quality education.  CORE Tanzania recognized the inequities and is working closely with the village of Bushasha to give these children an opportunity to affordable education.

Core Tanzania’s Facebook page has fantastic photos illustrating the project from inception, and includes hundreds of images of the families it will impact. Specifically, scroll to September 14, 2018 where CORE gives kudos to the SSF team involved! SSF is proud to be part of this unique project!
