Swenson Say Fagét opens new office

Structural Engineers Swenson Say Fagét (SSF) opened a new Central Washington office. The new space is in the historic Clymer Building at 416 N Pearl Street in Ellensburg. SSF already has offices in Seattle and Tacoma. The Seattle office opened in 1995 followed by Tacoma in 2004. The Tacoma office opened to better serve clients and business partners in the South Sound.

As SSF’s third location, the Central Washington office supports the company’s goals to have a local presence closer to Central Washington clients, to expand services in the region, and to offer another office option for SSF team members. Recent Central Washington contracts include:

• The Columbia Street Properties adaptive re-use study of six cold storage buildings near the Pybus Market for a mixed-use development, Wenatchee

• Department of Corrections Deaconess work-release building adaptive reuse, Wenatchee

• A new luxury resort in Chelan

• The Hampton Inn renovation, Yakima

• The Walla Walla Library expansion and renovation

Principal, Zane Kanyer, PE/SE, leads the Central Washington office.
