Spring start for Bremerton units – Burwell Apartments

Construction of the 25-unit Burwell Apartments in Bremerton is slated to begin in late spring, the architect announced.

Kenmore-based Lorax Partners LLC is the developer, and 1010 Apartments LLC is the owner of the project at 1010 Burwell St.

The building will be one block north of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and within walking distance to Bremerton’s Boardwalk, which has restaurants, bars, cafes, a marina and the Bremerton Ferry Terminal.

Build LLC of Seattle is the architect on the three-story project. It will have one-bedroom and one-bedroom plus den market-rate units of 600 to 750 square feet. There will also be 13 covered and 12 uncovered parking stalls.

Construction is expected to be done in spring 2021.

Build said it assumed responsibility for the project from The Design Collective during schematic design. Build said it updated the land-use submittal and designed the building with a clean, modern aesthetic.

Serpanok Construction of Tacoma is the general contractor. The team also includes Swenson Say Faget, structural; Navix Engineering, civil; Richmond Engineering, mechanical, plumbing, fire; Cross Engineers, electrical; Patrick Hayes Energy Consulting; and Emily Russell Landscape Architecture.
