Stone Way Auto Event Space

Stone Way Auto Event Space

Seattle, WA

Stone Way Auto renovation is the adaptive reuse of a 1953 unreinforced masonry (URM) auto shop building for an event and meeting space. The structural stabilization of the 10,000 SF space was complicated. The design team added a new mezzanine, a penthouse bar, and a roof deck to accommodate more meeting and dining space options. A new skylight provides additional light into the space. The project includes new bathrooms and an elevator, and two new steel stairways that connect all three levels and tie back to the building’s industrial roots.
