Lopez Island
SSF teamed again with Heliotrope and Thomas Fragnoli Construction on a beautiful vacation home on Lopez Island. Replacing an existing 900 SF cabin, the new simple gable structure is now a 3-story home built within the original footprint. The main floor kitchen/living space features uninterrupted walls of glass that provide a 180-degree water view and blend seamlessly with the exterior decks. The second floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The third-floor loft includes a kids’ play area and a flexible space for remote work, reading, yoga, or a good nap! The home is clad in black to blend in with the surroundings making it almost invisible from the public shoreline. The property also has a separate studio apartment for friends or relatives to visit.
