Centerline
Seattle, WA
Located near Sound Transit’s Roosevelt Link light rail station, Centerline is a new, seven-story mixed-use development with 235 apartments, 7,450 SF of ground-level retail, and two and a half stories of below-grade parking for 187 vehicles. Residential units include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and multi-level lofts.
The building is characterized by two towers of residential units, separated by a central courtyard with elaborate landscaping and concrete stairs and pathways. Steel canopies wrap around the south portion of the building and brick veneer is used around the north. Post-tensioned concrete transfer beams are used at grade level to accommodate column placement ideal for both the on grade commercial and residential spaces and the below grade parking garage.
