Seattle Fire Station #6

Seattle Fire Station #6

Seattle, WA

As part of the $167 million 2009 Fire Facilities and Emergency response levy to upgrade, renovate or replace 32 neighborhood fire stations, Fire Station 6 was scheduled for replacement. The new 11,400 square foot fire station in the Central District is a two-bay neighborhood station with an engine and ladder truck. This facility replaces the existing Historic Landmark Station #6. In 2014, this project won an AIA Washington Citation Award.

Fire Station 6 received a 2014 Seattle Design Commission Design Excellence Award.
