The S’Klallam Tribe completed a new hatchery and beach shelter at Point Julia on the east side of Port Gamble Bay. The 1,800 SF, two-story building includes office space for the tribe’s salmon hatchery program and an open-air structure used by the tribal commercial fishing operations. These projects are located in a coastal flood hazard zone.
This project won a 2024 AIA Washington Honorable Mention Award.
