Located in Lynnwood, this new 40-unit, 31,700 square foot affordable housing community is for residents over the age of 62 who earn less than $27,000 a year. The three story building was constructed utilizing conventional wood framing. The project includes a multi-purpose room, library, computer learning center and laundry facilities. These common areas are located in a wing projecting from the main housing units, which allows for a consistent load path for the residential framed units to the foundations, leading to an efficient and cost effective structural system.
