Fort Worden Building 305

A seismic analysis of Building 305 was completed for the conversion of a maintenance facility into a multipurpose space. The renovation will convert the building to classrooms, offices, and conference or meeting rooms. The seismic study was done to assist in the development of a Historic Structures Report, required by current standards for historic preservation. A visual condition assessment was performed in addition to a Tier 1 seismic analysis in accordance with ASCE 31-03. Recommendations for rehabilitation of seismic and condition deficiencies were presented in a final report.
