Sacred Heart Catholic Church

renovation and small addition to this Catholic Archdiocese property

Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Lacey, WA

This project consisted of scopes of work in two separate buildings. The first was the addition of a mezzanine level in Hallen Hall. This existing building was a pre-manufactured steel building constructed in the late 1980’s.  The mezzanine was constructed using open web steel joists with metal pan and concrete topping.  Light gage diagonally braced walls were located within the programmatic space to brace the mezzanine for seismic loads. The second project was a 2,000 square foot wood framed addition of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel to the main sanctuary.
