Sarah’s a 7th generation Texan and twice UT-Austin grad who moved to Tacoma to beat the heat and begin work at SSF. She became a structural engineer to discover how cathedrals are still standing centuries after construction. The answer: load paths and a big budget. On the weekends, you can find her either working on a project at home (like building a bookcase) or exploring a new part of the PNW.
