Gary Swenson

Founding Principal (retired)

After 40 years of structural engineering, Gary Swenson retired from Swenson Say Faget in 2011. His extensive portfolio included a variety of project types, ranging from single-family residences to multi-million dollar public projects. Much of his career was dedicated to historic preservation and restoration. As such, he served on the City of Seattle Mayor-appointed committees for Landmarks Preservation and Design. Through his dedication to the firm and structural engineering expertise, Gary set the bar high for future leadership.
