Dani Rustagi

Staff Engineer

Slow walkers
Cottage cheese
Shoveling snow
Microwaveable meals
When it rains in the mountains
The lack of ski racing coverage on TV
Piano’s that are out of tune
Boring socks

Born and raised in Bellevue, Dani ventured to Cal Poly for college and quickly came to appreciate the outdoor amenities of the Pacific Northwest. A ski racing instructor in the winter and outdoor adventurer in the summer, she spends hours and paychecks at REI. Prior to SSF, she worked on the design of an orphanage in El Salvador with Journeyman International, a non-profit connecting A/E/C students with humanitarian organizations around the world. She recently joined JI as an alumni and advises students and local workers about best construction practices. Both her parents were engineers so it was almost inevitable that Dani would be too.
