This treehouse was constructed as a 40th Anniversary gift. Nestled in 3 white pines behind the owner’s ground home and next to the river, this mid-century modern treehouse includes a variety of amenities including air conditioning and a 4-bed loft area for their grandchildren. One of the larger treehouses we’ve completed, this design required steel on both ends of the supports, with a steel yoke on one side, and two steel runner beams on the other. Due to the softer tree species, the typical connections to the trees were enlarged to meet the load demands.
