Port Ludlow Residence

a Hood Canal home with a view from every room

Port Ludlow Residence

Port Ludlow, WA

Located on the north end of Hood Canal in Port Ludlow, this 2400 square foot home was designed with a view from every room. The waterside is almost-exclusively glass and features a two-story high living/kitchen area with 8’ x 8’ sliders that extend the living space to the patio when desired. A two-story modern tower anchors the design and houses two bedrooms and two offices. High end finishes include ipe wood flooring that travels from the interior through to the exterior deck, zebrawood and mahogany cabinets and quartz and limestone countertops. Metal siding and aluminum windows and doors were used to minimize maintenance. Clerestory windows bring in even more light to the spacious living area.
