This new residence is divided into a public block, with the kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a private block with bedrooms. A small south facing courtyard with an outdoor fireplace separates the two blocks and allows the owners to enjoy the outdoors during the cooler fall and spring months. The public block is framed with an open glu-laminated post and beam structure while the more closed, private block is stud wall construction.
