Swenson Say Fagét provided structural engineering for the buildings located at the new Kandle Park and Pool facility for Metro Parks Tacoma. The structures total about 5,000 square feet and include a pool maintenance building, concessions/administration building, a changing room as well as smaller auxiliary buildings. Structural systems included structural insulated panels (SIP) for the roofs and walls and custom steel trusses to support the SIP panels for the maintenance building.
