Innis Arden Residence

This mid-century modern home was updated to last another 50 years. Although modest in size, the plan was intelligently reconfigured to accommodate a family of 4 without adding onto the existing footprint. The new interior includes a new kitchen, new bathrooms and new surfaces throughout. Existing textures, like the stone walls and stone fireplaces, were retained and resurfaced for their character. Strategically located fin walls frame views and provide a sequence of experiences. A new roof structure at the front announces the entry and defines the functions of the house.
